To the extent a state insurance law does not impose a compliance obligation on an employer, it is not covered in this publication. In addition, this publication is limited to employee benefit considerations and does not cover state tax laws, privacy laws, cybersecurity laws, or other employment law topics such as workers’ compensation, employment discrimination, payroll practices, wage and hour laws, or short-term leave laws that provide job and/or benefit protections for one month or less.
